Load combinations and fire design

Load cases are automatically turned into the combinations needed by the different design checks.

Automatic combinations

Loads are entered as characteristic values with their category and duration. TimberStruct generates the required combinations and identifies governing cases for each verification.

Load-duration classes

Checks account for the load-duration classes required by Eurocode 5 and the selected national context.

Fire resistance

Fire checks are integrated into supported member types; connection design can also account for the intended protection.
